We are delighted to announce that I’LL BE GONE IN JUNE, debut feature film by Katharina Rivilis, will celebrate its world premiere at the Festival de Cannes in the Un Certain Regard section.

After her successful short film RONDO, the German filmmaker brings us into a tender drama set in the aftermath of 9/11, following a 16-year-old German exchange student navigating loneliness in a small desert town in New Mexico.

The festival will take place May 12th to May 23rd 2026, with exact screening times to be announced in the coming weeks.
