June 2015: Wim Wenders is shooting his new film Les Beaux Jours d’Aranjuez, in the surroundings of Paris.
The script is based on the play from Austrian writer Peter Handke, in which a man and a woman share their musings on love and freedom one summer night. The couple’s conversation meanders through memories, unspoken desires and passion through poetic dialogue.

After 3 American LPs (1969), The Goalie’s Anxiety at the Penalty Kick (1971), Wrong Move (1975), and Wings of Desire (1987), it is Handke’s and Wenders’ fifth collaboration.
The film is a co-production between Berlin-based Neue Road Movies and Paris-based Alfama Films, and features Reda Kateb, Sophie Semin, Jens Harzer and musician Nick Cave. Cinematographer Benoît Debie joins Wenders again after their first collaboration on feature film Every Thing Will Be Fine (2015).
