“UNA STERMINATA DOMENICA” BY ALAIN PARRONI IN COMPETITION IN THE ORIZZONTI SECTION OF THE 80TH VENICE FILM FESTIVAL

“Una sterminata domenica”, the debut feature film by Alain Parroni, is screening in competition at the 80th Venice Film Festival in the Orizzonti section.

With these words, Alberto Barbera, director of the Venice International Film Festival, introduced the film at the press conference presenting the festival programme:
“Parroni makes the bold decision to forgo traditional narrative patterns to tell a story of nihilism and rebellion in the extreme Roman periphery. The film is an almost purely sensory, visual and musical experience that aspires to become the manifesto of a lost generation.”

“Una Sterminata Domenica” with Enrico Bassetti, Zackari Delmas, Federica Valentini and Lars Rudolph is an Italian/German/Irish co-production of Fandango, Alcor, Art me pictures, Road Movies with Rai Cinema.
Produced by Domenico Procacci, Laura Paolucci, Giorgio Gucci, Fabrizio Moretti, Wim Wenders. Executive producer for Road Movies is Luca Lucchesi.
