The production companies of Wim Wenders and his business partner Gian-Piero Ringel are restructured as from early 2016 on.

Gian-Piero Ringel is taking a long-planned paternity leave and has surrendered the management and his shares in Neue Road Movies GmbH as well as Neue Road Movies Dritte Produktionen as of January 1st, 2016. Wim Wenders will now serve as the sole owner and managing director for both companies.

Responsibility for Neue Road Movies Zweite Produktionen is being taken on by Gian-Piero Ringel as of 2016, but will, however, remain dormant until the end of the year.

Wim Wenders on the restructuring: “We will stay associated with one another in the future. In spring of 2016, we will continue working together on completing postproduction on the film “Les Beaux Jours d’Aranjuez”. Gian-Piero Ringel will continue to be responsible for the project as a producer for Neue Road Movies. From 2017 on, we intend to continue our successful collaboration in a new guise.”

Wim Wenders is pleased to welcome a colleague from earlier Road Movies times for Neue Road Movies, Wenders Images and Wenders Music: Uwe Kiefer will serve as the Chief Financial Officer for these companies as from 2016 on.
